When I review the hardware status it says that there is no driver installed for the co-processor.

Here's where I am: The MSI Live Update on their site would not start (page error) in IE 8 but does start in Firefox. But it says 'loading' for half an hour. I tried going manually into their hardware selector which shows my 775 LGA socket but no GeForce chip sets which I have. Searching for the mainboard model MS-7366 drivers produces no results. Searching for NVIDIA or MSI Windows 7 drivers produces no results.

Download Frontline Solver. Looks like this 2-year-old board can't be made fully compatible with WIndows 7. The same thing happened with my Acer Aspire Notebook for which I can't get drivers to allow me to get on line. WIndows 7 says my other desk top has an 'incompatible' video card and will not turn off the monitor, display a screen saver or go into sleep mode.

So much for backwards compatibility from Microsoft. Anyone who thinks they should upgrade to Windows 7 should plan on buying all new hardware guaranteed to be compatible Thanks for your suggestions.
