My wife paid the extra $$$ to get a reputable brand dishwasher I would say 3 - 4 years ago from Masters. Worked fine for the first 2 years then rack supports started to break as did the front plate. I am the one who opens and closes the dishwasher and I have been very gentle realising the front plate was only plastic. Not long after the front plate broke the Half Load button fell out and last night the dishwasher won’t turn on at all. Very disappointing after spending the extra to keep my wife’s mind at ease.

Very disappointed as we brought Bosch thinking it had a good and reputable name. Don't know from all the other reviews whether it's worth getting someone out to repair it. Such a shame. It was the first dishwasher I had purchased and thought a Bosch would last a long time with light use for just me. Very disappointed in what is obviously a fault with this model seeing the amount of reviews with the same issue. Like almost everybody else below my dishwasher just wouldn't work one day after 4 years of pretty casual use. An email to Bosch got the usual response along the lines of 'you will have to pay for a technician to attend and prepare a quote' seriously this is supposed to be a quality item!

So it appears im left with the choice of paying almost as much as a new dishwasher to fix this thing or throw it on the street and buy a new one.
